SHEET / 02 — SERVICES

Detailed electrical design deliverables, ready for construction

From concept through issued-for-construction drawings, we produce coordinated power, lighting, and low-voltage documentation—complete with calculations and schedules—so your team can price accurately, build cleanly, and close out with confidence.

SHEET / 02 — DESIGN METHOD

A clear, build-ready process from kickoff to permit set

Our electrical design services follow a repeatable sequence that keeps scope controlled, decisions documented, and drawings coordinated—so your team can price, permit, and build with confidence.

D-01

Define

Confirm goals, loads, constraints, and deliverables. We align on codes, utility requirements, and schedule so the design effort is scoped correctly from day one.

D-02

Engineer

Perform load studies, feeder sizing, panel schedules, and lighting layouts. We coordinate with architectural and MEP inputs to eliminate clashes early.

D-03

Document

Produce detailed plans and construction documents: one-lines, risers, conduit layouts, schedules, and notes—organized for clean estimating and field execution.

D-04

Review

Run QA checks for coordination and code compliance, then incorporate comments. You receive a permit-ready set with clear revisions and a defensible design record.

FAQ — SCOPE & DELIVERABLES

FAQ for electrical design projects

Clear answers on scope, pricing, timelines, inputs we need, and what you’ll receive at handover. If your question isn’t listed, send a quick note and we’ll confirm fit and next steps.

Q-01

What information do you need to price and start a project?

To quote accurately, we typically need the project address, occupancy/use, size, schedule, existing drawings (architectural/backgrounds), utility info, and a short description of scope (new build, TI, retrofit, equipment adds). If you have panel schedules, single-lines, photos, or prior permit sets, include them—we can still start with partial information and firm up after a kickoff call.

Q-02

Do you provide stamped engineering drawings?

We provide detailed electrical design and construction documentation, and we can coordinate sealed/stamped drawings through a licensed professional engineer when the project requires it. Requirements vary by project type and jurisdiction, so we’ll confirm what’s needed early and align responsibilities, deliverables, and review timelines before design begins.

Q-03

What’s included in your detailed electrical design deliverables?

Deliverables are tailored to scope, but commonly include power and lighting plans, one-lines/riser diagrams, panel schedules, load calculations, lighting controls intent, equipment connections, notes/details, and coordination markups for ceilings and equipment rooms. We design with constructability in mind and issue drawing sets at agreed milestones (e.g., SD/DD/CD) to keep the team aligned.

Q-04

How long does a typical electrical design package take?

Turnaround depends on project size, complexity, and the quality of background information. Many tenant improvements can move from kickoff to permit-ready drawings in a few weeks, while larger commercial/industrial packages take longer and follow phased submissions. After a brief scoping call, we’ll provide a realistic schedule with review checkpoints and a target issue date.

Q-05

Who owns the drawings and CAD/PDF files when the job is complete?

You receive the agreed deliverables in the formats noted in the proposal (typically PDF, and CAD/BIM when included). You’re free to use them for the project they were created for, including permitting and construction. If you need editable source files, record sets, or future revision support, we can include that explicitly so handover is clear and complete.

DOC / 04 — REQUEST A QUOTE

Send your plans. We’ll return a clear design scope.

Share drawings, load needs, and any constraints. We’ll review, ask only the necessary questions, and respond with a recommended scope, deliverables, and schedule—so you can price, permit, and build with confidence.
